Check out my new resource cards for anyone aged 6-17. The universal emotional literacy cards increase understanding and use of emotion words

They are ideal for parents and teachers to use. The activities in the card set are taken directly from my doctoral research, where I witnessed a huge improvement in my student’s emotional vocabulary (more than 300%) when they used the activities for several 20-minute sessions every week over a 4-month period.

These  emotion cards successfully develop children's knowledge and understanding of feelings. They're great for adults too! You can choose an activity from the task cards or select an emotion card to share how you feel and why.
